YouTube Streamer Valkyrae Is Going To Take A “Long Break”
Constant pressure is a factor why.
YouTube streamer Valkyrae, who has amassed over 3.6 million subscribers throughout her career, has announced that she will be taking a long break from streaming.
The streamer announced this during a recent livestream, in which she told her viewers that she will “be gone for a while” as she will be going on a trip to Japan with content creators group, Offline TV.
However, she won’t be back to streaming immediately after the trip as she’ll be going somewhere else directly after, SVG reports.
"There's more! Right after Japan – I can't really say where exactly – but I'm going somewhere else, right after, I will announce where and with who when I'm able to,” Valkyrae said.
This most probably means that she will not be doing any streaming for the next couple of weeks at least. Valkyrae added that she would try posting new content such as vlogs during the trip.
Fans reacted positively to Valkyrae’s decision to take this indefinite break, with one viewer commenting: “So happy Rae is going with Offline TV & friends to Japan and she is overall traveling and just enjoying life ... content is gonna be insane!!".
This isn’t the first time the popular streamer has taken short hiatus from streaming, with the streamer citing “pressure” as one of the reasons why. She has even admitted that she’s contemplated retiring from streaming altogether before but ultimately decided to stay.
Despite Valkyrae being overwhelmed by pressure to create content from time to time, she still loves interacting with her fans, so she most likely won’t be stepping away permanently anytime soon.
