If you’ve ever watched Charlie’s Angels and wish you could send the likes of Cameron Diaz and the gang on more tactical-based warfare, then do we have a game for you. Writer 7N34AP and Indonesian developers Niji Games have come together for an all-new visual novel experience.

In Project Angels, players assume the role of a commander in a private military organisation that works to protect civilians. As the commander, players can interact with several ‘Angels’, who are genetically engineered girls fused with animals and are able to use special abilities.

Southeast Asian gamers may remember developers Niji Games for the mobile visual novel, The Sun Shines Over Us, as well as the restaurant simulation game with a wholesome art style, Chef Story.

Within the game, the player will be faced with multiple routes of dialogues and decisions to choose from. These will also lead to many opportunities for the player to get to know the Angels in their organisation.

With a tactical military and science fiction theme, the developers have expressed hope that Project Angels will deliver its story much differently than the typical visual novel and dating sim hybrid. The Angels all have strong personalities and come from varied backgrounds.

In Project Angels, players can enjoy eight chapters with five different endings, all depending on the choices they make throughout the story. There are four main female characters that the players can interact with in their adventure.

Through animated tactical scenes and a rocking soundtrack, Project Angels is poised to take players on a fun-filled ride, all while uncovering the inner conflicts and conspiracy that lie at the heart of the story.

“It has always been my dream to create anime-styled content with science fiction and tactical military genre. I hope the existence of Project Angels can show the world that there is a potential for tactical military anime and its culture in Southeast Asia,” said the writer and main creator of Project Angels, 7N34AP.

If this sounds like the game for you, Project Angels will be released on July 13 on Steam.
