Popular French-Canadian streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel is known for his on-stream antics and absurd actions in games such as VALORANT and Grand Theft Auto RP servers. In a surprising twist, the streamer admitted last month that he is addicted to gambling, calling it an “illness”.

During a recent podcast with fellow streamer Imane “Pokimane” Anys, xQc said despite receiving frequent criticism and losing millions of dollars, he continues to gamble on live streams, tossing thousands of dollars at virtual slot machines in a matter of seconds.

However, the streamer has just lost a significant amount of his winnings due to an Internal Server Error.

xQc was playing The Wild Machine on Stake.com after hours of gambling and managed to set the world record for the "Big Win", earning himself over US$825,000. After celebrating, xQc moved his mouse to the top left corner of the screen to push the refresh button and continue playing, but he instantly realised he made a mistake.

As the website refreshed, he was greeted with a '500 Internal Server Error'. xQc took a minute to digest what had just occurred before bursting into a rage.

He then slumped into his chair and stared at the white error screen. The streamer then attempted to look on the bright side, claiming that he would have gambled away the money anyway.

When he calmed down, the streamer tried to be positive about the outcome.

"You know what? It saved my life. I was going to go back to Itero, and it was going to go one mil down without a single hit," he said.
